I moved into a townhouse that had been fitted out by blinds from BUDGET BLINDS. I phoned them and requested servicing on 4 blinds that were a problem. The problems were minor. Budget Blinds had no interest in helping me even though there were at least 22 blinds in my place. In desperation I phoned Ruffell and Brown and even though they probably KNEW they would not be selling me any blinds (at least for now) the courteous woman arranged for Adrian to come round and fix them for me. This company knows what customer service MEANS. They even fixed someone else’s blinds because they knew no one else would. Nice people! And believe me when it comes to buying some new blinds I will not hesitate to give my business to them! I would caution anyone using Budget Blinds to understand that all they are interested in doing is selling blinds. They could not care less when it comes to repairing them. Instead of going for the inexpensive solution buy your blinds from a company selling quality products who services what they and even other companies sell.

I’ve been meaning to send a note to tell Cheryl what a difference the blinds have made with the heat over the summer but now I’ve noticed another reason to be thankful for them – they dull the sound of the rain pounding on the skylights 😆. Thanks again for everything Cheryl and Bill have done to make this a reality for me – I’m very appreciative.

Recently I moved to Victoria and needed to have a drapery track installed in my home. I had heard that Ruffle and Brown had a good reputation and I contacted them. Good doesn’t describe my subsequent experience. But excellent does. From my initial contact through to installation, the personnel I dealt with were knowledgeable, helpful, patient, professional and personable. And the job was executed flawlessly. On a scale of 1 to 10 I’d give Ruffell and Brown 15. Thanks ever so much to Janine and Bill.

The install of the new roller shade was great! I’d like to commend both installers on their wonderful work. I love both my blinds and hope to order more once I am able for my other rooms. Janine was amazing with her responsiveness, recommendations, helpfulness, patience, professionalism, knowledge, advice and guidance. She even helped adjust one of my existing roller shades and was able to give me the best price as well! I won’t hesitate to reach out again for my future needs and also recommend Janine to my friends and family!!

My husband and I have worked with Cheryl Kellett at Ruffell Brown on two orders – one very large and one very small. Cheryl provided awesome service both times, and has helped us in choosing the perfect window treatment for our large master bedroom – the improvement in the overall look of the room cannot be overstated – it has transformed it in addition to making it extremely functional. Nothing but extremely positive things to say about Ruffell Brown, but mostly about Cheryl. Wouldn’t hesitate to return should the need arise.

Today is a good hot day to reference our delight with the new roll down blinds which partner with our Duettes in our West facing living room. Today and recent days have all peaked at about 25°C. Before our roll downs, we would have had to fire up the portable air conditioners at that temperature, or even below, to remain comfortable. We are soooo pleased to advise that with our new roll downs, we can avoid the portable a/c and still be comfortable, just with fans and open doors. So, those blinds represent a clear cost saving on electric power and resultant A/C noise reduction benefits for us! Definite lifestyle improvement, thanks to your advice.

I contacted Janine Kosmenko at Ruffell & Brown because she came highly recommended by close friends. I found Janine and her company to be highly professional. The blinds they recommended and installed have made a huge improvement to my living space – they opened up my windows which were previously partially blocked by drapes. The new blinds are much easier to open and close. I am very pleased with the service offered by Janine and by Ruffell & Brown. 5 Star service for sure!

I was very pleased with the patient explanation I was given of how to raise & lower my blinds.  The installer changed the operation of the blinds over my sink, so I did not have to climb onto the countertops to raise & lower the blinds. The installer also changed the side on which I pull down the cord on some bedroom blinds over glass doors.  Now the cord is attached to the window frame & is no longer dangling.  This was a kind favour as I really do not know who originally put the cord on the dangling side when the the glass doors were changed to new ones. The installer was very helpful, polite, patient, and friendly.

I noticed your voice mail message at home after work on the evening of Friday May 20th.  I left very early the next day for a weeklong vacation and was unable to return your call.  When I returned home and finally went through my mail, I saw your card.  So, many thanks for getting in touch.  The curtains are all wonderful and really finish the rooms.  Douglas appears to enjoy his mix of curtains and blinds and I appreciate the return of privacy in the entrance and look forward to retraining a little more heat in that area this winter. That fabric is lovely.  It blends beautifully with the rooms and holds its folds wonderfully.  I would recommend it and Ruffell and Brown to any and all of my friends and colleagues.  Thank you.

My new drapes have been installed and I am so pleased with them.  The fellow that came and did the installation of both the hardware and the draperie, was so pleasant.  He came (on time)  got the job done, cleaned up after the installation and took away all the old blinds and hardware.  Thanks again it has updated the room, I will certainly be doing business with you again.  A pleasant experience all around.  Sincerely F. My experience with Ruffell & Brown was great, everything worked out fantastic. I am very happy with the products and the service I received. I am trying to fill out the warranty registration card and I need to state what kind of lift system I have. My invoice does not state the I, it only says cordless lift system. Can you please tell me what system I have. Is it the LiteRise or is it the UltraGlide system. Thank you!

Earlier this year I was shopping around for a window covering for my bedroom. I generally do lots of shopping around before I make a decision, just as I did in this case. Right from my first phone call I found your staff prompt, courteous and helpful. Cheryl Kellett visited me at my home and I would like you to know that alongside her very professional manner she really does bring a very personal touch with her service. I liked her non pressure approach and wealth of knowledge in assisting me to choose the right product for my needs. Unfortunately after my drapes were hung I noticed oil marks, likely from the sewing machine. I contacted Cheryl and she very promptly came to my home. As a result I was supplied with a new set of drapes though these I was required to hang myself. I was not pleased with the second set of drapes as they were not hanging well or keeping the light out as well. Once again I contacted Cheryl and she had Glenn come out and work his magic. I find the second pair not as spot on as the first pair but can live with them now. I would also like to add that Glenn’s manner and service are also very good. Despite the blips along the way (I would like to assume they were unfortunate events and not common errors)  I was otherwise very pleased with the service I received and felt I should let you know.

We moved into a condo seven months ago and have used your firm on two occasions.  Cheryl Kellett was exceptional.  Her knowledge of the products and colour suggestions were invaluable.  The installer was very impressive ( carrying one piece up nine floors) and efficient.  Both arrived at the promised time, which was very much appreciated.
