Valances

A valance is a piece of material that hangs across the top of a window. They are often used to conceal other treatment’s hardware such as a drapery rod, or to add visual height and interest to a window. They can also control light from coming in at the top of the window to provide better light control in areas where maximum light control is desired. Valances are available in a range of styles, from a simple box valance to a swag style that is much more ornamental.

Cornice Boards

A Cornice is a hard top treatment, often created by upholstering a shaped board with gorgeous fabric and batting. Cornices can be created in different shapes and sizes.
