Our installers are highly trained professionals who install all types of window treatments and closet storage solutions. Custom blinds, shades, shutters, automated systems, fabric treatments and closet systems can be challenging to install properly without previous experience, which is the reason we prefer to take responsibility for the installation of the products that we sell. 

Our installers are among the best in the industry when it comes to installing not only Hunter Douglas products but all the products we offer. The feedback we receive from our customers is that our installers are friendly, efficient professionals who take care when working with delicate furnishings & accessories, and they leave your home as clean as they found it. Looking for Blind Repair Service in Victoria BC?

Our expert technicians service many different brands and styles of blinds and shades. You can either bring them into our Victoria showroom or we can come to your home.

Repair Centres (Victoria, Nanaimo & Sidney)

Our repair centres are located at our Victoria and Nanaimo showrooms. Repairs may also be coordinated through our Sidney location.

  • Victoria: Drop-off and pickup are available any time the showroom is open (6 days a week).
  • Nanaimo: Repair drop-off and pickup are available during Nanaimo showroom hours.
  • Sidney: Repairs can be coordinated through this location; additional service or handling charges may apply.

A non-refundable deposit is required at drop-off, and the blind(s) must be left with us for assessment and repair. We will contact you when your repair is ready for pickup. Repair timelines vary depending on the number of repairs in the queue and the availability and delivery time of any required parts.

We support manufacturers’ warranties where applicable and will facilitate warranty repairs on your behalf whenever possible. Please note that manufacturers’ warranties vary: some cover replacement parts only and may not include labour, warranty processing, or shipping costs. In these cases, additional fees will apply.

If the repair is not covered under a manufacturer’s warranty, the repair cost is based on the nature of the repair required.

In-Home Blind Repair Service
Our skilled technicians can also repair issues in the comfort of your home, so you do not have to bring your blinds to us. Please note that a trip charge fee applies for all in-home repairs. Some repairs can be made quickly with in-stock parts available, but other repairs may require us to order the parts. In those cases, there will be additional fees for the parts, return trip, and labour to complete the repair.

Finding The Right Part For Your Blinds

Need a part for your blind? Not sure how to fix it? We will ask you for some specific information about your window coverings to ensure that we provide you with the correct parts and repair instructions. Here are a few basic pieces of information that will help us help you:

  • Provide the age of your product: With all of the great enhancements and improvements throughout the years, most repairs are product-specific and age-dependent.
  • Provide your product’s name or type: To identify your specific product, you can explore the Products section on our website where you will find a description of the product and a photo gallery.
  • Provide your product’s operating system.

We carry a large selection of parts for the products we sell including such items as valence clips, tilt wands, tassels, hold down brackets, end caps, bottom weights and chain for verticals, cordless handles, battery wands, and remote controls. Please note that manufacturers change their products frequently and replacement parts for older blinds may not be available or match exactly the original part. We also offer full repair services including cutting down blinds and making custom length drapery tracks.
